I’m passionate about creating a nurturing, inspiring space where children feel safe, confident, and eager to learn. After becoming a parent, I developed a deep appreciation for the early years and the impact quality care can have.
Originally from Belgium, I hold a Master’s in Language and Literature from the University of Antwerp and taught English and Dutch at both secondary and tertiary levels. In 2017, I joined Community Kids Haven Knoxfield as a Kinder Room assistant. While working, I completed my Diploma and have since progressed through roles including Room Leader, Educational Leader, and Assistant Centre Manager before proudly becoming Centre Manager.

As a new parent I was quite anxious, but the centre team has been so welcoming and kind. They genuinely supported my child to settle in and I couldn’t be more grateful. Barbra the Centre Manager, is very responsive and welcoming. She always takes the time to help us and does so with a genuine smile. Thankyou Barabra and team for all your support.
Friendly staff, lots of activities for the kids like holiday programs, art, water play. I feel comfortable sending my child here knowing they will be well looked after in the nursery, thanks!
I have both my kids at Community Kids Haven Knoxfield. They’ve both attended since around 6 months old, with my oldest now in the kinder room. The staff are wonderful, knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely care about the children and support them at whatever stage they’re at. The team always listens to feedback about how the kids are going and what support they need, which makes us feel really heard as parents. Both my kids come home happy, exhausted, and covered in sand 😂 (a true sign of a great day!). We’re very grateful for such a caring and supportive centre.
Great place to be a part of, my child is so happy everyday. He comes home everyday telling us about his day and his teachers and friends. The educators are loving and caring. Very happy to be part of a great center.
Our family has been part of this centre for nine years, with all of our children attending and our youngest now in kinder. The care, professionalism and genuine warmth shown by the educators has been exceptional. They truly know and support each child as an individual. They’ve supported me and my youngest to great depths, in assisting my potentially ND child with attentiveness to growth opportunities, working with his therapists and being open and clear with communication. I feel incredibly supported. The kinder program has been outstanding in preparing my children for school both emotionally and socially. Communication has always been clear and supportive, and the sense of community and stability at the centre is something special. I am incredibly grateful and cannot recommend this centre highly enough.
